The human eye is a complex organ that allows us to see the world around us. It is made up of many different parts, each of which plays an important role in allowing us to see. The following is a brief overview of the anatomy of the human eye:

The outermost layer of the eye is called the cornea. The cornea is a clear, curved surface that helps to focus light as it enters the eye. Behind the cornea is the iris, which is the coloured part of the eye. The iris controls how much light enters the eye by adjusting the size of the pupil, which is the black circle in the centre of the eye. Behind the iris is the lens, which further helps to focus light as it enters the eye. The lens is held in place by the ciliary muscles, which control its shape. The lens focuses light on the retina, which is a layer of tissue at the back of the eye that contains cells called photoreceptors. These photoreceptors convert light into electrical impulses, which are then sent to the brain via the optic nerve. The human eye is an amazing organ that allows us to see the world around us in great detail. With its complex anatomy, the eye is able to take in light and turn it into electrical impulses that our brains can understand.
