Positive opinions:

  • “Me gusta” – I like
  • “Me encanta” – I love
  • “Me flipa” – I am in love with it
  • “Me mola” – I really like it
  • “Me gusta mucho” – I really like it
  • “Me gusta bastante” – I quite like it
  • “Me chifla” – I’m crazy about it

Negative opinions:

  • “No me gusta” – I don’t like
  • “No me gusta nada” – I really don’t like it
  • “Odio” – I hate
  • “Detesto” – I detest
  • “No me interesa” – I am not interested
  • “Me aburre” – I find it boring

It is worth noting that while “Me gusta” is the most standard and common way to express like in Spanish, other phrases like “Me encanta” or “Me mola” are also frequently used, especially in colloquial speech. “Me chifla” can be used for emphasis and for something we really love “Me flipa” and “Me mola” are also both used in similar way of “Me encanta” to express great love, but in more informal/colloquial way “No me interesa” or “Me aburre” can be used for expressing the lack of interest or boredom towards something.
