  5. Supplier survivability: Put pre-agreed liquidity bridges (SCF, dynamic discounting, disaster-mode terms) in place so Tier-2/Tier-3s don’t crater when volumes drop to zero.
  6. Golden config + clean-room rebuild: Keep offline-verifiable images/configs for AD, SAP, jump hosts, and HMI/PLC engineering workstations; exercise a clean-room rehydrate at least annually.
  7. Tabletop against “new-plate day” moments: Time attacks often target your peak calendar. Build playbooks for worst-possible timing (registrations, quarter-end, model changeovers).
  8. Telemetry you can trust: Independent logging to an off-domain SIEM/Lake, immutable retention, and rapid PCAP on “crown-jewel” segments.
  9. Customer/dealer comms: Pre-approved messaging and workarounds (manual VIN capture, DVLA registration contingencies) to reduce downstream chaos.
