The Key to Time Travel

The Rusty Key

Nicholas was walking home from getting ice cream with his friends when he found an old, rusty key on the ground. He didn't know what it was for, but he pocketed it anyways and continued on his way. When he got home, he went to his room and started playing with the key. Suddenly, a bright light engulfed him and he was transported to a different time and place.

He found himself in a grand castle and it was clear that he was not in his own time anymore. He explored the castle and eventually came across a room that looked like a library. In the library, he found a book that told him he was in the year 1692 and that he was in the middle of a witch trial.

He was shocked and scared, but he knew he had to find a way back to his own time. He read through the book and found a spell that would take him back to his own time. He recited the spell and was immediately transported back to his own time. He was relieved to be back home and vowed to never use the key again.
